Audio Engineering Suite

As a recording artist, you need to treat the sound recording like your business card. This is a tangible representation of who you are, and what you have to offer as an artist. If you want to stand out against the never-ending releases from other human artists, and now AI music, you need professional sounding master recordings.

Not only do these need to sound killer on a TECHNICAL level, but they need to connect well with the listener on an EMOTIONAL level. Everything that’s being done in the mixing and mastering stage should be in service of the song itself. Getting that right balance of technology and artistry is no small feat, and will determine whether or not the song can live up to its true potential.

As an artist myself, I understand how vulnerable of an experience it is sharing your work with other people. Even I still experience these same feelings every single time! You want to make sure you’re placing your music into the hands of the right people, and it’s difficult to know who you should trust.

I certainly never want a client of mine committing to a project when they don’t feel fully confident about it. So if you have ANY questions about my service, feel free to reach out to me via the contact us page. I’ll be more than happy to provide you with all of the information upfront, so that you can make an informed decision from there.

I look forward to chatting with you about your next project! Thank you so much for your time.

FAQ

Q #1: What music genres do you work in?

A: My bread and butter is anything featuring live instrumentation. I am a popular choice for pop, rock, R&B and Indie records. Other genres I've been hired for include jazz, blues, reggae, punk, metal, country and EDM. I am open to taking on any project falling outside of those genres too though!

Q #2: Will I need to pay you any royalties?

A: No, you will NEVER have to pay me any royalties as your mixing/mastering engineer.

Q #3: Do you claim ownership over the final product?

A: No, I do not. All copyrights & ownership are passed along to the client once they make their purchase.

Q #4: If I am unhappy with the final product, what happens?

A: Every client has the opportunity to request UNLIMITED revisions on the final product. But if after several rounds of revisions you’re still unsatisfied, you will get your money back, PLUS an additional $50 for your trouble. No questions asked.

Q #5: What DAW do you work in?

A: I’m a certified audio engineer in Pro Tools. I also got my B. Sc. in audio engineering from Husson University (2022 grad) while working in Pro Tools.

Q #6: Can I hire you only to mix, or only to master?

A: Of course you can! Please clarify this when you reach out to me via the contact us page, and I’ll make sure I adjust my quote for you accordingly.

Q #7: Could you remix/remaster a song of mine?

A: Sure thing! Just send me the material how it was prior to the work that was done that you were unsatisfied with.

Q #8: For your optional vocal tuning & editing, what exactly do you do?

A: I manually tune your vocals note-for-note with Melodyne, and add an optional auto-tune fx on top of that if you’d like. I will also make timing adjustments, edit out background noise, tame unflattering breaths and inflections. This ensures we’ll have CLEAN vocal recordings on your record.

Q #9: Why do you not already include vocal tuning & editing?

A: This work is VERY time consuming, and detail oriented. I’m essentially looking at things on the microscopic level. Since this requires an excruciating attention to detail, the work is quite difficult, and therefore I charge extra for these optional services.

Q #10: None of your pre-built packages meet my specific needs. What do we do?

A: We can totally create a custom, tailored-made solution for your project. If you believe this would apply to you, please clarify that for me when you initially reach out via the contact me page.
